Olga Dmytrenko
Artista Plástica e Cientista

Nasceu na Ucrânia. Desde tenra idade cultivou o seu amor pelas artes visuais e pela ciência. Após a formação na Republican School of Physics and Mathematics da Kiev State University, entrou no Departamento de Física desta Universidade e concluiu o mestrado em 1986. Em 1990, concluiu o doutoramento em Físico-Química. Olga conquistou vários prémios de honra, como a Bolsa de Investigação do Presidente da Ucrânia e a Bolsa do Ministério da Ciência e Investigação da República Federal da Áustria. Vive e trabalha actualmente em Delaware, USA. Apesar do seu profundo interesse pela ciência, Olga cria composições orgânicas de estilo abstracto, a que ela chama "Abstravaganza”. Foi vencedora do 8º Grande Prémio Anual Inter-Art Museum de 2006 e o “Ambassadors' Art Prize - Prix des Ambassadors 2005” (prêmio especial). A maioria das suas pinturas é elaborada com cores suaves e dourados. Algumas delas retratam sugestões de nuvens, água, paisagens e pessoas, mas frequentemente as obras de Olga Dmytrenko apontam para temas de fantasia, contendo a maioria das suas obras uma espécie de qualidade mítica.
Olga Dmytrenko é membro do grupo internacional de artistas “3º PARADIGMA” e do “Newark Art Alliance”, Newark, DE. Está representada em diversas colecções da Califórnia, Massachusetts, Florida, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Colorado, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Washington DC, South Carolina. Internacionalmente encontra-se representada em colecções públicas e privadas da Ucrânia, Áustria, Rússia, Moldávia, Espanha, Noruega, Alemanha, Roménia, Itália, Japão e França.
